Using the deck material estimate
Why can a shorter board length increase the count?
When one board cannot span the deck, each row needs multiple pieces. The calculator counts those pieces and the unused material from each purchased board.
What does the price estimate include?
It covers deck boards using the local price per linear foot that you enter. It does not include framing, hardware, footings, labor, tax, or delivery.
